BLACKPOOL ROCKET MAN
Elton John to play a live concert on Blackpool Tower Headland on the 16th of June, Elton John has played more than 3,000 concerts but last played in Blackpool over 30 years ago in the Opera House for two nights in 1982, The concert is the opening of the space for events and festivals, now that the fantastic Blackpool headlands improvments are almost finished.
With the new Blackpool Headlands we want to attract more stars and already lined up for Blackpool on the headlands June the 24th are McFly and Wanted. We are hoping to get the Rolling Stones now that the Blackpool ban on them has been lifted.
Tickets for Elton John go on sale Friday at 9am the 24th february.
