A new Wallace and Gromit-themed Thrill-o-Matic adventure is to hit Blackpool Pleasure Beach at a cost of £5.25m and is set to open next year, this being a big investment and is hoped to be a big hit in Blackpool.
This 4 min, ride with scenes from the films will replace the Gold Mine which closed last year, and is aimed at bringing families to Blackpool as with the success of the Nickelodeon Land a massive boost to Blackpool.

Blackpool Illuminations to be turned on by Beth Tweddle, Greg Rutherford and Luke Campbell the Olympic gold medallists on Friday the 31st of August,the swith on will be held on the Blackpool Tower Headland and this year marks the 100 years of the lights.
